It’s a little quiet around Turntable Kitchen today because the sunny weather and work have kept us away from the blogging. Nonetheless, I just received this new Basketball-themed track from Breathe Owl Breathe. You may recall our pairing for their latest full-length Magic Central – its a billowy and rustic folk-pop album album we loved for it’s clever lyrics, whimsical melodies, boisterous hand claps, and purring harmonies. “MVP” is a new non-album track about basketball that they’ve released to promote their upcoming tour. Speaking of which: Bay Area folks can catch them when they play the Huichica Music Festival in Sonoma on June 4th. The track is definitely worth downloading.
