Next up in our record shop series is Luna Music, which is located along a hip little strip in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Luna is the type of record shop that I wish was located in my hometown growing up. It’s high ceiling and clean aesthetic gives the most welcoming atmosphere for music lovers of all types.
The records in the shop are sprinkled with description and staff pick stickers which makes for an excellent guide when looking for something new to check out. The staff is also so friendly and welcoming that I couldn’t imagine ever feeling intimidated asking a question or feeling out of place in this shop.
I was excited to see a range of age groups in the shop while visiting and I can only assume that is due to their wide selection of genres and formats (one of the best tape collections I’ve seen in a long time!).
