Light, springy, and refreshingly warm-spirited, “Until I Open My Wings” by Brooklyn-based Small Wonder (a.k.a. Henry Crawford) enters like a cinematic sunrise above a lovely landscape. Inspired, in part, by the metaphors and imagery of Peter Pan, the song, like the rest of the album Wendy, is an intimate, thoughtful, and uniquely composed tune exploring the idea of what it means to grow up.
