Last summer the music of Ohio-native Marcus Ward (a.k.a. Freeze-Tag) received a lot of play in our home following the release of his fantastic Eskimo EP. Much like Thundercat, Freeze-Tag’s established himself as a unique r&b talent by underlining soulful vibes with spiraling contemporary electronic production balanced against fiery guitar riffs. He’s primed to release his debut LP Last Night I Grew Tentacles via Long Division Records and his first single “You Do” is an incredible introduction.
