Jack Tatum’s Wild Nothing is back with the follow-up to his 2010 LP Gemini. His sophomore release is titled Nocturne and was recorded by Tatum while living in Savannah, Georgia. “Paradise” demonstrates just what we can expect from the new album. It’s an atmospheric, synth-fluffed jam centered on a hazy, rainbow colored melody. Compared to the material on Gemini, it’s fuller in terms of it’s production and the songwriting is more mature and thoughtfully arranged. It’s got me excited to hear more.
Pre-order Wild Nothing’s Nocturne from Capture Tracks now. A limited edition version is available now on light blue vinyl with a letterpress sleeve. I already have one incoming.
