I just discovered this new remix of Phoenix’s “1901” thanks to the folks over at NME. The Memory Tapes’ take on Phoenix’s popular cut is fresh, original and sounds fantastic (as expected). NME reported that there are rumors of an Animal Collective remix of this cut coming soon as well, which should be interesting at the very least.
