I’m very excited to share this playlist with you because it may be one of my favorite playlists I’ve put together in years. No joke. I love it, in part, because it was a ton of fun to build, but also because I was pleasantly surprised by how easily it all just came together and how well it all clicked.
The theme here is pretty obvious: all of the artists are from France. And although that’s the only connection for many of these tracks, it is a smooth collection of tunes that span several generations and numerous genres. I’ve included cuts from Francoise Hardy, Air, Phoenix, M83, Ibeyi, Jacques Dutronc, Justice, Edith Piaf, Daft Punk, CocoRosie, and so much more.
