New Zealand newcomer Leisure have surfaced with a super smooth track warmer than a Muriwai sunset. Publicly speaking, not much is known of these newbies other than that while on holiday for a week on the west cost of the North Island, they rented a house, divided the 4 rooms up into separate studios and, “Got it Bad” was born, right there in the sun-room next to the kitchen.
With a groovy rhythm section and vocals reminiscent of Electric Guest one thing I know is that my ears have got it bad and can’t wait to hear more. In the mean time I’ll be keeping a close eye on their Facebook page to see what other crafty tunes the remaining 3 studio rooms have inspired.
