With its reverberating and screeching fringe, Torres latest single “Cowboy Guilt” is a surprisingly playful and sonically-wobbly tune that sounds as if it’s ready to come unspooled at any moment. And, if we’re being honest, it’s left us more excited than ever for her forthcoming album Sprinter. Definitely recommended for fans of artful indie pop in the style of St. Vincent.
