The National have quietly released a new single called “Sunshine On My Back.” It’s not clear if a new album is in the works, but it’s certainly a good sign.
Update: It’s not from a new album. It was recorded during the Trouble Will Find Me Sessions and Sharon van Etten provides guest vocals. It’s being shared to celebrate the release of the “Mistaken For Strangers” documentary for rental and purchase.
