There is an awful lot to like on this debut single from Birmingham, UK-based songwriter Silk Cinema. Namely, “Hope” is a sparkling and dreamy pop groove with a bright, bubbly beat and a gorgeous, floating-in-space ambiance. But it’s really that smoky, soulful croon that mesmerized me. I’m officially obsessed.
