The sparkling and understated “Fears” is the latest serving from The Night VI‘s newly released DIY EP. Sparsely arranged and evocative, it’s the bands most personal and emotionally vulnerable song to date. Indeed, before flowing softly into a swaying middle eight, Sophie-Rose Harper sings, “Why can’t I tell a good day from bad? I’m so consumed by this life I have where nothing is clear. So I’ll write a song.” It’s yet another showcase of the band’s considerable promise.
The DIY EP is officially out now but is only available at the band’s gigs. If you happen to be in London this week you can catch them alongside OSCA and Paperwhite at The Stillery in Camden. Take a listen to “Fears” and “Heroine” below.
