Daniel Wilson has been on a roll this month. In addition to the release of his first ever vinyl single (through the Pairings Box no less), he’s released a pair of incredible new singles. The latest track “If You Went Away” is a springy, ivory-framed ballad that gently floats forward through a swelling, understated composition. It’s incredibly lovely and just another sign that Wilson is one of indie music’s most promising new artists. Take note.
You can listen to it, along with the also recently released “Boy Who Cried Thunder” below.
