Brooklyn duo Yellerkin (Adrian Galvin and Luca Buccellati) impressed us last year with their debut EP and lead single “Solar Laws.” They’ve returned with a catchy and pulsating new single titled “Tools.”
“‘Tools’ is a kind of anthemic generational song, but one that toes the line between triumph and tragedy” explains Galvin, who further adds “This song is about our limitations; how fucked up it is that we are the generation that bought into all the crap our parents protested against in the 70’s!”
Far more upbeat than that might suggest, it’s lively, melodic and bright. Take a listen.
