Here’s one for the weekend. The highly talented and enigmatic FKA twigs recently dropped the first single and video for the track “Two Weeks” from her debut LP (appropriately titled LP1). You can watch the video below. It’s highly recommended listening.
The not-entirely-safe-for-work r&b jam is dangerously sexy and incredibly addictive. It’s built from sputtering percussion, waves of soaring synths, and FKA twigs sultry vocals as she calls out, “give me two weeks / you won’t recognize her.” I don’t doubt her, she’s already won our hearts.
