Rootsy and rustic, Ghost & Gale offer a dreamy and clear-eyed brand of indie folk that’s sure to appeal to fans of The Civil Wars, Gillian Welch, Ryan Adams, etc. It’s the project of San Francisco-duo Brodie Jenkins and David Luning. Their lovely new single “Wicked Heart” features strong boy/girl harmonies supported by brightly strummed acoustic guitar riffs and thoughtfully understated percussion. The tune appears on their forthcoming debut EP which drops on November 14th. If you’ve got a good ear you may recognize Jenkins as one-half of rising SF-duo CATHEDRALS.
