Honeyblood is the Glasweigan duo of drummer Shona McVicar guitarist/vocalist Stina Marie Tweeddale. They’re cranking out the sort of addictively melodic and crashing girl-group garage rock that’s already impossible to escape nowadays. Still, even though they are entering a quite crowded genre, quality, as always, rises to the top. If they keep releasing songs like the obsessively lovesick “Kissing On You” they’ll earn a devoted following in short order.
