Yet another awesome release from our friends at Crash Symbols. VHS Vision was originally released by Texas-based producer Stephen Farris in 2010. It turned a number of heads at the time including that of producer Com Truise who gushed over it, calling out the “super ill synth work [and] melted vibes.” Indeed, those bright, distorted synths and washed out VHS-sheen merely serve as the canvas for Ferris’ knack for catchy melodies and clean, upbeat rhythms. It’s just good, experimental pop.
