Spring is my absolute favorite time of year. The market starts to come back to life with the arrival of peas, asparagus, strawberries, and artichokes. I’m lucky enough to live right around the corner from a little farmer’s market that sets up shop every Sunday. It’s the best way to start the day. I pick up fresh flowers, baby turnips and leeks, farm fresh eggs, even meat and seafood. Though I often tend to grab whatever canvas bags happen to be within reach, I’ve been thinking of prettying up my Spring routine by purchasing a legitimate farmer’s market tote. A straw tote reminds me of strolling along cobblestone streets in Europe, while the new line of bright leather Baggu bags remind me of Barcelona (especially the one above, with its vibrant yellow color). The polka dots transport me to a Mary Poppins, fairy tale London, while the whimsical illustrated canvas tote offers shopping inspiration.
