Score one for Wednesday. As of earlier this afternoon you can hear a track from the James Blake and Bon Iver collaboration titled “Fall Creek Boys Choir.” Basically you get Justin Vernon’s vocals with James Blake’s production, and I’d say it pretty much sounds like what you expect if you are familiar with the guys involved. It’s textured, but sparse with multiple levels of Vernon’s vocals simultaneously stretched, chilled and otherwise distorted alongside reverberating bass and a clean clip clop rhythm. Take a listen and let me know what you think.
