The same fine folks over at Double Denim who brought us the first physical Blackbird Blackbird release, are back promoting their second official release: a 7″ single for Seapony. Seapony are a Seattle-based surf-pop trio that have recorded a beautiful collection of yearning, but sunny melodic lo-fi pop tunes that sway lazily to contented, breezy rhythms. Definitely recommended. Oh, and the EP is available as a free download on bandcamp. Double Denim will be releasing their debut 7″ as of November 15, but it is limited to 300 copies – so pre-ordering is definitely advised (p.s. you can order this with the Blackbird Blackbird 7″ as a bundle and receive a discount).
