I received another slick track by Richmond, California’s the Dime yesterday called “Weave” featuring a J. Dilla beat borrowed from “Crushin’.” Featuring more East Bay representing lyrics and vocals from K.nightshift and Chioke, “Weave” is a crisp, laid-back hustle that will have your head bobbing and foot tapping. And speaking of representing the East Bay – you can check out the Dime’s regular DJ – DJ Crimson – at the K.nightshift hosted party, The Skillet, hosted at The Layover on June 18th at 1517 Franklin Street in Oakland.
