If you haven’t heard any of the demos or new cuts from the Brooklyn duo known as Sleigh Bells now is the time. Sleigh Bells consists of Derek Miller (songwriter/beats/guitars) and Alexis Krauss (vocals), and I stand by my previous description when I noted that “there is an undeniable awesomeness permeating every inch of their blown-out thumping abrasive pop music.”
“Tell ‘Em” is the first cut off their debut Treats which is scheduled for a physical release on June 1, 2010. If you pre-order from Insound you’ll get a free 7″ while supplies last. It’s available now on iTunes, and you can take the album for a test drive over at NPR.
