I named Grizzly Bear’s Veckatimest as my number one album of 2009, so, as you can imagine, I was pretty excited when I discovered this cover of Hot Chip’s “Boy From School.” This was aired on Australia’s Triple J, and is already hosted on a large number of other sites, but I was just too excited not to post it as well. Simple, charming acoustic guitar with plaintive falsetto: their take on this track is simply soothing and beautiful. Check it out:
