I’m surprised that I’ve only made it out to the Bridge School Benefit once in 2002. But at least it was a good one. Ryan Adams did a set, Tenacious D performed, Foo Fighters played a set, James Taylor was there, and the highlight for me was that Thom Yorke did a solo set as well. Although, I’m disappointed I never discovered a bootleg of Ryan Adams performance from that night, but I am delighted that there are a great recordings of both of Thom Yorke’s sets. He played Everything In Its Right Place on a piano, covered Neil Young’s After the Goldrush, rocked rare solo versions of Lucky and Paranoid Android in addition to beautiful versions of Like Spinning Plates, Pyramid Song and Street Spirit. Enjoy!
