You’ve got to be kidding me with this cover of The Cure. It’s ridiculous. Italian-based Schonwald take one of my favorite songs from my “formative years” and simply murder it. With heaps of gauzy, sticky reverb and a cold, chugging electro-beat, the Italian-duo’s take on the tune is even moodier and more darkly atmospheric than the original. Don’t ask me how that’s possible, just take a listen for yourself.
